Prices & Sizes
How much is a 1 kg cake in Oman?
Our 1 kg cakes range from 8.000–15.000 OMR depending on the flavour, and serve 8–10 people. See the full breakdown on our Cake Prices in Oman page.
How much is a bento cake?
Our bento cakes are 350 g and cost 4.000 OMR — perfect for one or two people. More sizes and prices on the Cake Prices page.
How do I choose the right cake size for my guests?
As a guide: a 1 kg cake serves 8–10 people, and a 2 kg cake serves 16–20. For bigger gatherings, our team on WhatsApp will help you size it right. Full size guide: Cake Prices & Sizes.
Ordering & Delivery
Can I get a cake delivered today?
Yes — ready items (signature cakes, savories, pastries and slices) ordered before 2:00 PM are delivered the same day, within the delivery window. Details on same-day cake delivery in Muscat.
Which areas do you deliver to?
We deliver across Oman — each of our 20 branches bakes and delivers locally. In Muscat that includes Al Khuwair, Qurum, Ruwi, Al Mawaleh, Seeb, Bausher and beyond. See Delivery Information.
How much is delivery?
A flat 2.000 OMR (excluding VAT) — free on orders of 20.000 OMR or more. Minimum order is 6.000 OMR. VAT is applied at checkout on the order total including delivery. Full details: Delivery Information.
Is there cash on delivery?
Contact us on WhatsApp to place an order paid with cash upon delivery.
What happens if an item I ordered is out of stock?
We usually flag out-of-stock items before you purchase. If it does happen, we’ll recommend similar alternatives to the same value.
How do I use a promo code?
On the cart page, before entering your card details, type the code into the promo box. Make sure the code is still active to enjoy the offer.
Custom Cakes
Can I order a customised cake?
Yes! Add your message, a photo, or start from scratch — explore Custom Cakes to see what’s possible.
How much notice does a custom cake need?
At least 24 hours, so we can build your design properly. Detailed designs can take 48–72 hours — order early for big occasions.
Can I add my message or photo to the cake?
Of course! Make your cake special with a sweet message, or add a picture with our photo cakes.
Do you have eggless cakes?
Yes — we bake a full range of eggless cakes, available for delivery like any other cake.
Do you have chocolate kunafa?

How many branches does Modern Oman Bakery have?
We have 20 branches across Oman — baking for Oman’s celebrations since 1982. Every branch bakes fresh daily and offers pickup.

Message us on WhatsApp or visit our Contact Us page and we’ll point you to the closest of our 20 branches.
Payments & Refunds
My payment failed online — what can I do?
Try processing the order again. If it still fails, contact us on WhatsApp or email contactus@oman.switzgroup.com and we’ll send you a manual payment link.
I paid online and was charged twice. What should I do?
We’ve got it covered — we’ll issue a refund that reaches your bank account within 5 days.
Can I cancel my order? Do you have a refund policy?
You can cancel within 2 hours of placing your order and the refund is credited back to your account. Full terms in our Refund Policy.
What if I’m not happy with my cake, or something went wrong?
We appreciate your feedback and always aim for the best quality. Share what happened (a photo helps) and we’ll review it and make it right on a case-by-case basis.
