Founded in 1982, previously known by the name “Switz Modern Oman Bakery” or “Switz Bakery”, today a rebranded MOB is successfully running 20 branches all over Oman. We are a full-service bakery that specializes in baking specialty cakes, desserts, breads and many other baked goods. Every baked item we sell is made fresh with passion using high-quality ingredients. Our cakes are always personalized for any occasion or celebration upon a customer’s request.

Where we deliver

Across Oman, seven days a week, 365 days a year. With 20 branches, your order is baked at the branch nearest you and delivered locally — in Muscat, see our same-day cake delivery in Muscat page.

Delivery charges

  • Home delivery is a flat 2.000 OMR (excluding VAT).
  • Spend 20.000 OMR or more and delivery is free.
  • Minimum order for delivery: 6.000 OMR.

VAT

VAT is calculated at checkout on your order total including the delivery fee — the prices you see for delivery are before VAT.

Same-day delivery — ready-to-go treats

Craving donuts, breads, pastries, or snacks? Order our in-stock favourites before 2:00 PM and we’ll get them to you the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM arrive the next day.

Cakes & customized orders

Custom cakes need at least 24 hours’ notice — detailed designs can take 48–72 hours. Choose your delivery window:

12:00–3:00 PMafternoon window
3:00–7:00 PMevening window

Friday deliveries take place in the afternoon, after prayers.

Prefer to collect?

Pick up from any of our 20 branches across Oman — choose pickup at checkout and your order will be waiting.

Changes & cancellations

  • Cancel free of charge within 2 hours of placing your order.
  • Changes to fresh items need 24 hours’ notice — late changes may incur charges up to 100%.
